MOTORSPORTS NAMES NEW CREW CHIEF

After many weeks of speculation, team owner Glenn Styres is please to announce that Heath Lutz will assume the role as Crew Chief at Styres Motorsports effective immediately.
A native of Boston, New York, Heath brings along a wealth of experience in sprint car racing. A life long friend of Mike Woodring, Heath has served on the Woodring Racing team since 1990 and was a valued contributor behind the stellar record that Woodring accumulated on the ESS trail.
“I met with Heath yesterday to finalize the deal” explained Styres. “I am excited to be entering this new phase of my racing career with someone as knowledgeable as Heath. I can’t hardly wait until the SOS opener at Brighton Speedway in a couple of weeks” Styres went on.
The team has a busy time ahead of them over the next couple of weeks as the equipment is being readied for the upcoming season. “It will be more of an exercise in getting organized than anything” Styres explained. “The motor has been freshened and Mikey Kruchka has been busy gathering parts we need and assembling the car. I think we should be in good shape for the season opener and maybe will even have a bit of time to get some practice in” Styres
