Phillips Hopes To Use Set Back As Teaching Tool

After a successful surgery this past week to remove the prostate cancer that he was diagnosed with earlier this year, Tim Phillips has now
focused his attention on helping others.
In the true nature of a racer instead of thinking about himself he is now hoping to spread the word of what he had to go through. Only days after his surgery Phillips said that he wants to offer any help that he can. "I would like to encourage anyone who would like to know more about the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer to email me" Phillips said. "I did alot of research on it and had to convince my insurance company as to why I needed to go out of network to get treated." His research has evidentially paid off after the successful procedure which should allow him to return to the seat of the #21 in 2006.
For more information Tim has requested that any inquiries about the procedures of dealing with prostate cancer be directed by email to

Lets
all wish Tim a full and speedy recovery!
