It
is with great pleasure that we announce to you
the first Indoor Racing event at “The Special
Events Centre, The London Gardens” located at
Wellington Rd and the 401 in London, Ontario.
The first of what is hoped to be an annual
Indoor Championship Racing Series, is scheduled
for Friday & Saturday January 14 & 15,
2005. It is hoped the series will come together
to fill out a complete 5 race championship
series from January to mid April. Future dates
will hopefully be confirmed at a later date,
will be as follows,
February
18-19, 2005
March 4-5, 2005
March 25-26, 2005
April 15-16, 2005
The
feature event will showcase many drivers from
the Lucas Oil CanAm Midget club and many drivers
are expected to make the trip from the northern
US states like New York, Penn, Ohio, and as far
as NJ. The series will also feature drivers from
Ohsweken Speedway and Wonderland Speedway with
their Outlaw and Sr Micro Sprints. The purses
will be in Canadian funds and announced later
but are expected to be similar to that of the
past series. As many as 78 race teams have
expressed great interest for this first event.
Space will be limited so sign up early and get
your name in soon as space will be given on a
first come first serve basis.
Registration
Fees: $50.00 per race received by Jan 5 2005-
$70.00 after Jan 5 2005
( If season confirmed- then a balance of $100.00
to be paid)
Pit Passes- $22 per person ( must be 14 years or
older to enter pits)
Spectators- Prices TBA

Please
note: London is very busy with many other events
throughout the winter months with many hockey
tournaments and special events. Some of these
weekends are already booked at some locations or
near capacity. It is in your best interest to
book early and book even the tenative dates also
as rooms will be hard to find later. There are
also many other fine facilities not listed here
that can be found in your information directory.
