Vote Cody to Racin' for a Livin' Reality TV Show

Eighteen year old sprint car driver Cody Geldart of Mossley, Ontario has beeen placed on the ballot for the Racin' for a Livin' reality TV show. Fans will have a chance to vote in 12 participants to be a part of the competition which will land the winner a seven race deal in the NASCAR Busch Series in 2007. NASCAR TV Celebrities such as Mike Joy, Larry McReynolds, and Jeff Hammond will be a part of the show as well as former drivers A.J. Foyt, Harry Gant, and Ernie Irvan.
The voting process begins on Tuesday March 28th, 2006 at 1pm EST. This is a great opportunity to show your support and help Cody gain some great exposure and give him the chance to compete for a limited NASCAR Busch Series ride in 2007.

Racin’ for a Livin’ is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to receive seven fully sponsored rides in a NASCAR Busch Series car in the 2007 season. Created by veteran open-wheel racer Jerry VanDenHul, the series will kick-off using direct internet voting to select the twelve participants. Voters can view the potential rookie drivers, learn about their background, and use internet video to learn why they are chasing their dreams of NASCAR glory.
JVI Productions LLC has announced that Racin’ for a Livin’ submissions for rookie drivers will end on March 6, 2006. Eligible participants must have all information submitted to the RacinforaLivin.com website by midnight. The application process is free, and completed online. Applicants must be over eighteen by the end of July and a legal US. Resident or eligible work status.
The RacinforaLivin.com website has become a major destination for auto racing fans on the internet, and will begin a national sweepstakes competition this weekend with fantastic prizes. Details of the program, news about the series, and an overview of the competition is laid-out on the website, along with a fully-interactive user’s forum.
Racin’ for a Livin’ will be featuring top broadcasters, drivers, and crew chiefs as the judges when the driving competition begins with the top twelve rookies. Featuring some of the most well-respected tracks in the country, Racin’ for a Livin’ will put these rookies in pressure-packed situations, and one driver will be eliminated in each episode.
The off-track poise of the rookies will also be tested with a variety of interesting encounters with top celebrities, racing legends, and current NASCAR drivers. Judging will be on driving ability, public appearance, and personality. And the viewers play a key role. Internet users will have a vote for who stays, and who goes.
The final selection of a winner will be done in a two hour special, with each regular season episode presented in a one hour version. Network television negotiations are in progress, with national primetime exposure for all participants, win or lose. Details will be announced shortly.
