SOS Unveils New Web Site For 2004

     The Southern Ontario Sprints will kick off the new year with a brand new web site for 2004.  After three years of hard work and dedication, Daryl Turford has handed over the reigns to the site that he has maintained from infancy.  With his racing career blossoming and a full time job taking up the rest of his time it was decided that the club would seek assistance with the Official Web Site of the Southern Ontario Sprints.

     The new web designer will be Greg Calnan who in 2001 designed and donated the current SOS logo to the club.  After having recently relocated to Brantford Ontario it was Greg's desire to join the SOS in some capacity.  The opening to take over the web site was a perfect fit as Greg has spent the past 5 years maintaining and operating the Official Web Site of the Picton Pirates Junior Hockey Club.  He is also that clubs logo designer as well.

     The new web site will hopefully continue to grow and be as informative as possible to the teams, fans and staff of the Southern Ontario Sprints.  Already a detailed History Section has been added with additions of past race results and standings coming in the near future.  Not only will the new site keep everyone up to date on current SOS news but also help remind visitors remember where the club has been and where it all began.

     Another new feature is the SOS Insider instant email service.  Visitors can simply submit their email address to sosracing@hotmail.com and they will be sent instant SOS news updates via their personal email accounts.  This will help keep everyone up to date on series news, web site additions or special events as soon as it becomes available.

     Another new feature to the web site is the Track Section.  Each track on the 2004 circuit has their own separate page with real-time local weather conditions posted thanks to www.theweathernetwork.com.   Also direct links to official track web sites can be found on these pages.

     The Southern Ontario Sprints welcomes everyone to their new web site in hope that visitors will find it very informative and enjoyable.  As the club continues to grow so will the Official Web Site of the Southern Ontario Sprints.  Come back and visit often for what should be an exciting 2004 season!!!
