| You
have a solid history of success in several forms of
racing, what is your plan for continuing that success
with the SOS? |
| I
guess same as before. I feel that hard work, past
experience, and an open mind, will allow me to enjoy
some success as this new challenge unfolds. |
|
| What
has been the most difficult part of putting together a
team and building a car to compete at the sprint car
level? |
| WAITING!!!
I work as a truck driver, and don't have alot of extra
income, so I have to share it between my wants, and my
families needs. |
|
| Family
and friends are obviously key in the operation of any
racing team, who have been some of the key people who
have gotten you to this next level? |
| I
guess in order it would be, Wife Terri, Mom and
Stepfather Dave & Noreen Richardson, Randy Tebbutt. |
|
With
plenty of experience racing karts in the past against
guys like
CASCAR's D.J.Kennington and SOS drivers Mike Ling and
Adam West do you feel that will help your learning curve
and comfort level racing with the SOS? |
| Yes
and no, It is nice to know that at least seven other
people that I have raced with have at one time or
another either won or at least ran strong with the SOS
but, I also know that I have to work my own program.
I can't rely on their successes, I have to get my
program to the point that I'm comfortable. |
|
| In
your racing career who has been your favourite driver to
compete against? |
| Over
the years, I have ran against so many great drivers at
Wonderland Speedway that I can't just name one. I will
say this though, the SOS has just seen the tip of the iceberg
as far as micro sprint drivers. |
|
| As
a rookie, where did you purchase your car and where does
a newcomer go to find parts and supplies for sprint car
racing in Ontario? |
|

|
| I
bought the chassis from SOS runner Dean St Denis. From
there it was off to the Ohio flea markets for used
spare parts. Grisdales, near Ancaster have
been helpful locating a few new parts. |
