Stewart Sweeps Can-Am Challenge For $5,000 Payday |
|
Bixby, Oklahoma’s Shane Stewart has made a habit of coming to Canada and taking the money in high profile races and this past weekend was no different as Stewart steered the Scott McClaren owned #21 into the lead on lap 13 and never looked back on his way to a $5,000 payday in the Southern Ontario Sprints (SOS) season opening Can-Am Challenge at Autodrome Granby.

The
Southern Ontario Sprints will be carrying a supply of American
Racer MC3 tires, the spec right rear tire for the SOS, at all
SOS races.
New this
season, you will also be able to order other American Racer
tires and sizes through the SOS.
Teams are asked to email there inquires and orders to
Dick Mahoney mahoneyd79@hotmail.com.
Right Rear tires available at the track may be a
limited supply, however you can easily order additional Right
Rears ahead of time by contacting Dick.
Orders
should be placed ASAP for availability at Brighton Speedway
May 19th.

SOUTHERN ONTARIO SPRINTS RELEASE 2012 SCHEDULE

|
The schedule for the seventeenth
season of competition is now set for the Southern
Ontario Sprints (SOS). The tour will take the SOS across
Ontario and into Quebec this summer with stops at
Autodrome Granby, Brighton Speedway, Ohsweken Speedway
and South Buxton Raceway. As well, the SOS continues the
tradition as an affiliate sanctioning body for the 8th
annual Canadian Sprint Car Nationals.

SOS set to defend the border at Can-Am Challenge
|
|
GRANBY, PQ – The first ever Can-Am Challenge sprint car event will be hosted by Autodrome Granby in Granby, Quebec come May 11th & 12th, 2012.
Over $33,000 in prize money for the weekend, with the winner of the 30 lap A-Main feature taking home over $5,000!
The very best 360 sprint car drivers from six states and two Canadian provinces will trek to the very popular 1/2 mile oval to see who is up to the challenge in becoming the first Can-Am Challenge champion.

SOS Champion Lee Ladouceur Crowned at Banquet |

London, Ontario (November 6,
2011) – The sixteenth season of Southern Ontario
Sprints competition came to a conclusion on Saturday,
November 5th as the club honoured 2011 champion Lee
Ladouceur at the annual SOS awards banquet, held once
again this season at the Best Western Cairn Croft Hotel
in Niagara Falls.
